Mini tag journal

 Hello friends

 Hope you are all good!
First of all
mashoosive thank you for all your lovely
comments regarding the Distress bubble technique...
WOW I'm so glad you liked it!

If you havent watched it you can  hop here to see how,
if I get chance I will try and re-film it with an actual project, but it just depends on time...
(I'm back at pay the bills job.....blergh.... time is precious at the mo)

I put the technique to good use and created this mini tag journal
I used the distress bubble technique on the smaller tag, its such a cool look and I'm now a little addicted to trying it out lol!

Over at SSSC their theme is embrace the "Old" hop here for all the details and lots of inspiration! As I am a hoarder of lots of Old things I  thought I would put to use some old watch findings and old text pages from an old book
to create this Mini Journal
I used a Ranger manila tag #10 distressed with Brushed corduroy and Walnut Stain
The inside of the tag was lined with an old text page from a dictionary

Lots of stitching with my sewing machine
I added smaller tags to journal on, fastened together with vintage lace
The front has a heart cut using Tim Holtz Alterations heart I added a mixture of wire, cogs and
Idea-ology gears

As always feel free to comment always great to know you popped by x
Have a great day

Kaz

  4. I love it. I need to dig out my sewing machine - the stitching around the edge really adds to it.

  5. Okay, one of my New Years resolutions is taking the time to leave more notes for my blogging friends! I always read posts in a reader and it makes it hard to leave a comment or two. But I do not miss a post! Love seeing the things you share and your lovely home. I wish I had more time to blog, but I work part time at our local library. I wanted to share with you my new blog, just opened this week.... http://www.brookekroeger.blogspot.com.... it will be for my vingage and digital work... including printables you might enjoy. I also have my home and garden site, http://www.creativecountrymom.blogspot.com. This week I am doing a look back to my spring garden.

Hope to be able to connect more in this new year. I am spending less time on Facebook and gave up twitter and everything else. A girl needs time to create, decorate and GARDEN ya know!

    God bless....Brooke
