Hello friends
Hope you are good!!
I know, I know Ive been such a bad blogger...but I have a good excuse...
After all my recent exciting adventures I returned to "Pay the bills job" only to find out we had school inspectors in....Eeeeek!
So its been a little stressful and a such loooong week but its Friday, my favourite day, YAY!
So I managed to get a couple of hours shed time.
I actually went in there to look for something.....a couple of hours later voila one canvas!
(oh how I have missed my shed!)
Here's what I created.....
Its a deep framed canvas, I used Dylusions Ink sprays, stencils and lots of Claudine Hellmuths gesso!
I added lots of layers using old book pages
The leaves were gesso`d through a dylusions stencil,
when dried I coloured using inks the outlined the leaves with a sharpie pen
The hearts and house were stamped, coloured and added to the canvas with matt medium. The words are Tim holtz chit chat words.......(Idea-ology)
Oooo nearly forgot....I said in my last post that I would have a little giveaway.....
Well if you fancy owning this stamp set "love struck Lucy" by Dylusions
all you have to do is to leave a comment ......simples!
I will pick a winner in a weeks time!
Good luck!
Have yourselves a wonderful weekend.....
back soon
GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED!!

ReplyDeleteFabulous, that's the first word that came to mind. I love the layered work and the new Tim Holtz words work really well, I was curious about them. I have these deep canvases and I will nick your technique of following on round the sides with your design, it makes it very fluid I like that look.
